Choosing a format

The right case for every context

Letter case changes how text reads and where it can be used. Standard prose, source code, filenames, URLs, and social posts often need different formats.

What is sentence case?

Sentence case lowercases the text, then capitalises the first letter of each sentence. It is useful for natural-looking paragraphs and captions.

How does title case work?

Title case capitalises the important words in a heading while keeping short joining words lowercase unless they appear first or last.

Which cases are useful in code?

camelCase and PascalCase join words without separators. snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE, and dot.case use visible separators.

What are the social media options?

Create one readable PascalCase hashtag, turn each word into a separate hashtag, use alternating case, or tidy unwanted spacing in a caption.

What is a URL slug?

A slug is a lowercase, hyphen-separated version of a title that is easier to use in a web address, such as summer-photo-guide.

Is my text uploaded or saved?

No. Conversion, counting, copying, and TXT file creation happen locally in your browser. Bobek does not receive or store the text.
